Pros It plays our HD home videos well, it loads quick, and it is definitely worth the money!
Cons The wifi was a bit of a pain at first.
Summary Definitely a good buy!

Pros 3D is good and the remote works
Cons almost everything
Summary CONS : I have now got a second one and it's still defective. I am so upset you can beleive. Keep ejecting movies while playing, original BD or DVD's, burned movies also, same thing. When shutting down, the tray opens up and stays open ? Getting error attempting to update, saying wrong model for updates ? Controls do not work on BD itself, only the power button works. Comes with Anynet that helps you connect to your PC and read files after you install the software on your PC. It's makes my Home Network Crash ? i have to reebot my Router which is an brand new top of the line ASUS...... I have to meet the store manager tomorrow for an exchange for a different brand. No More Samsung.
Pros Pros for my 2009 and newer 2010 models:
Streams Netflix, Pandora and Youtube. $$$ Expensive model in their series that has apps and supposedly upgradeable. May be better off and have support if you go ATV or GTV plus a standard bluray
Cons For 2009 model BD-p3600 w/ apps:
Recently Samsung has let this model drop from support in less than a year
30+ questions left unanswered on their owners forum/support site
Firmware upgrades are buggy and sporadic
New Blurays sometimes will not play.
Summary Buyer beware for those considering newer Sammy models with apps built in. This demonstrates a POOR support model for their products integrated with apps.
Buyers of 2010 models beware of being left in the dust on your models. You may want to consider Apple TV or Google TV with a cheaper Bluray model given Samsung's poor support of app integrated models. Buyer beware
Pros Easy set up new player in minutes. Stunning images from BD & DVD. I love the touch controls on top of player as I have the unit on top of my AV shelf. Digital Zoom works great to remove "most" of letterbox bars without distortion of the image.
Cons Would like to opt out of the "busy" screen full of icons that lead to internet sites as they will burn in to my plasma screen if left up too often. I would prefer a simple "moving" logo to save the risk of burn in.
Summary This is a beautiful to look at unit that out performs my 3 year "old" Samsung 2550 in every way. Fast BD load up is great. Blu-rays look stunning. Images are clean, bright, stable, and crisp. There are lots of adjustments available in the menu to tweak video preferences to suit your monitor and environment.Added Netflix smoothly, and it is working perfectly. Watched a movie and some TV shows with great results. Did not expect to like this feature as much as I do!
Audio is great too. I set it for "listening at low volume" and I can hear movie dialogue more clearly than from my older blu-ray player without any weird compression artifacts or any loss of punch or fullness to music or sound effects. I have not changed any settings or connections to my amp so I have to give this player full credit for excellent audio decoding.
I have made good use of the digital zoom too. This unit has an easy to use two step zoom with no distortion or visible loss of image resolution. I zoomed into Disney?s Sleeping Beauty Blu-ray (which is ?very? wide screen) and watched the entire movie with my mouth hanging opened. Black bars at the top and bottom of the screen were reduced to a minimum, and I could not detect any loss of image quality while zoomed in! Fantastic feature that I really thought would be not too useful because all other ?fake zoom in? features I have tried before caused some kind of artifact or distortion.
I do not have a 3D television screen but I am very happy with this unit?s 2D performance.

Pros Lightning fast loading
Nice features to cut black bar and moving subtitles accordingly
Decent 3d playing
Cons Netflix streaming issues big time...software and network card issue in the player, no one cares to fix
Gets very hot
Summary Buy if $100 or less..or if you dont care about streaming anything..because they wont work well or smoothly. Even the lowly Vizio has figured that out, why cant samsung.
