  • "Defective firmware."
    on by spikeaus

Pros Wi Fi connection seamless, Great Apps, Hub system to access Apps very user friendly. Plays non Blu-Ray DVDs perfectly. Netflix, Hulu, Pandora all perfect streams.

Cons Installed this unit, brand new, one week ago. We played one Blu-Ray DVD and the player would not play it again or any other Blu-Ray DVD? Firmware could not ID or play ANY Blu-Ray DVDs after the first one was played? It must be a defect in the firmware o

Summary Quirky defective system for playing Blu-Ray discs otherwise it ran perfectly. This one's going back... After all it is primarily a disc player and it can't play the discs.

  • "Excellent Picture and Sound !"
    on by anybud4me

    Pros Dual HDMI outputs
    3D looks flawless
    HD lossless audio

    Cons Way to expensive.

Summary Since I have a receiver that only supports HDMI 1.3 I was in the market for a Blu Ray Player with dual HDMI outputs in order to see 3D Video and losless HD audio. This player fit the bill perfectly and I couldn't be happier.

  • "Excellent Blu-Ray player."
    on by buckeyeordie

    Pros Blu-Ray picture
    Dual HDMI outs
    Plenty of apps
    Great looking

    Cons Expensive.

Summary Excellent picture and plenty of apps. You won't be disappointed.

  • "Great player.."
    on by pt1209

Pros Fast, picture quality is great and no DVD drawer..

    Cons None so far.

Summary I originally bought the Panasonic's DMP-BDT210 mainly because it was the Cnet Editors Choice but it's Netflix bug which they fixed with an update made it's Internet interface much slower and inconsistent. I replaced that player with the Samsung BD D6700 and couldn't be happier. Outstanding DVD picture quality and much better picture quality through Netflix, tons more Streaming Apps and even Apps you can add and download directly to this player. Also the iPad/iPhone/Android app allows you to use your iPad as the players remote which is very cool.
Bottom line: this SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE EDITORS CHOICE FOR NEW BLU RAY PLAYERS!!!
Had both and the Panasonic BDT210 can't touch this device.. May cost a bit more ($40 in my case) but well worth it and you do get what you pay for...

  • "Awesome Blu-Ray Player!"
    on by Double_D_Reid

Pros Dual HDMI output, HD lossless audio, Smart Hub feature, dedicated button on the remote for Netflix! Lots of different apps and more to come.

Cons To Me There are no cons.

Summary I would recommend this Blu-ray player to anyone that has a AV receiver with 1.3 HDMI version. So you will be able to hook it up to your AV receiver to get the HD lossless audio through HDMI. Because you cannot get it through a digital cable connection.*
