Bought one of these a couple of months ago. It runs about 30 minutes then freezes the picture. It has firmware issues, even after downloading and installing latest version. Wireless will not work even when positioned next to router. Tech support is virtually non existent. Techs talk over you, do not want to solve the problem. They constantly ignore your statements and talk down to you like you must really be dumb if our unit isn't working for you. We have given up on this POS and have relegated it to the trash. We will be buying a Blu-Ray DVD player from a company that manufactures better equipment and stands behind their product. Never, never purchase anything with the Vizio name on it.

"IF the unit worked, it would be great"

1 stars  | on by xphilemike

Pros

Lots of features and built in wifi

Cons

Over the years, I have owned 9 disc players, most of them DVD, 2 of them Blu Ray. This is the worst one I have owned! And that includes a $30 COBY. The player is hyper sensitive to the slightest blemish on the disc which it will NOT recover from.

Summary

You have to eject the disc and hope to find the problem. Then you have to endure all the obnoxious FBI warnings again as this unit has no resume feature! I have owned it for over 6 months, and it also regularly locks up requiring me to UNPLUG it.
