MegaAccy is a small-time player in the Bluetooth headset market, but it is providing an affordable alternative to the more expensive Bluetooth headsets that are out there. Price does not always equate quality, either, as its latest model, the MegaAccy M2000, is small, sleek, and easy to use. It does have rather mediocre call quality, however. The M2000 is very affordable at only $69 per unit.

A far cry from the somewhat staid-looking MegaAccy M1300, the M2000 has a smoother and more modern design, with clean lines and a minimalist look. Measuring 0.7 inch tall by 1.65 inches long by 0.39 inch thick and weighing in at only 0.35 ounce, the M2000 is definitely a small and lightweight headset. Because it's so tiny, it looks and feels quite inconspicuous when worn, which is a good thing. On the front is a simple multifunction button with a blue LED on top of it, while the left and right spines are home to a volume rocker and charger jack, respectively. Even though the buttons are a little small, they are surprisingly tactile and easy to press.

On the back of the M2000 is an earpiece that fits right inside the ear. There are optional foam ear covers for comfort, and an optional ear loop for additional security. The M2000 feels quite secure when worn, so much so that we felt like we didn't need the ear loop most of the time. That said, we would've preferred a gel cover of some sort--the foam covers don't really add too much to the comfort factor.

We tested the MegaAccy M2000 with the T-Mobile Sidekick 3 and the Nokia 5700 Xpress Music. The headset paired successfully with both devices. Call quality was mixed. While voices sounded loud and clear from our end, callers thought we sounded very fuzzy with lots of static despite the headset's supposed noise-and-echo-cancellation technology. Features of the Bluetooth headset are fairly basic: they include answering, ending, and rejecting calls; last number redial; voice-dialing support; and the ability to transfer calls from the headset to the phone and vice versa. The MegaAccy M2000 has a rated talk time of 3.5 hours and a rated standby time of 6.25 days.
