Pros: One Pairing for Handsfree BT and External Speaker

    Cons: Unique Power Jack

Summary: Ever run across the same product when searching for two different solutions? Here it is! Both my work and personal laptops have Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and A2DP Stereo BT support. My 8525 and new 8925 PPC have A2DP BT and Stereo Handsfree support. Altec Lansing has hit a Triple with the T515, because the speaker unit can be attached to any 3.5mm stereo out jack (cable included) for greatly improved sound from any MP3 player as well as a laptop; the T515 has four disposable AAA-cell internal power for the speaker as well as AC and USB A-port power sources (with unique plugs). Same unique plug is used to recharge the detachable Bluetooth microphone/remote Clip-on (lower right in the product photo). The Clip-on contains a fixed internal rechargeable battery. The Clip-on docks in the center of the speaker unit to provide the same A2DP Stereo support services AND gives you remote microphone and phone control as well! Okay, neat thing is that you undock the Clip-on, plug in your fav 3.5mm earbuds/headset (nice set included), and you now have a Stereo A2DP BT Headset that, if paired to a supporting cell phone, also mutes the music for incoming or outgoing calls. Pairs up instantly with my Lenovo T60 laptops and AT&T 8925 TILT (HTC Kaiser/TyTn II). So impressed am I, went searching and bought two more, one dedicated to my home laptop, the other for my daughter and the 8525 she's jut inherited (and loves). One of the two eBay purchases arrived with a broken DC jack, being replaced by the Seller now. Overall, except for the use of unique DC jacks (mini-USB would have made this a 10/10), extremely pleased with this system. Oh, and the case for the speaker unit is very good quality, too! Most AT&T stores have this in stock, check it out!
