"The Best ! yet not the best somehow"3.5 starson by Ahouchan
Pros: 1. One Piece System; 2 wires at the most with Auxiliary out
2. Believe it or not this thing sounds like a home theater system
3. As usual with most Bose system, You can play as loud as you like with no Distortion.
4.Small in size, footprint but big sound
2.Costly. Should Packed together with Bluetooth
3.Poor bass if placed wrongly (Popular issue.I'll explain later)
4. Cannot be placed at desktop level. Must be on the Floor or with a low height table probably at knee or thigh height level. Probably
Summary: Many people have trouble getting their SD 10 to work. Some say "wow impressive bass! sounds like a theater" Some doesn't get to experience that kinda claim at home and suspect those reviewers may be working in Bose. Bose Wave guide was over-hyped Blah Blah Blah .
While most people experiencing inadequate bass or virtually none at all- *is true*. The problem here is the Design of the SD 10. For some poor design reason, the bass sound was projected in a
up-firing way somehow. So if you may have placed on your desktop and find that the bass isn't working, you may have to place it somewhere on a lower.
Imagine this. Most of us may probably own a 3 piece system and we wouldn't want to place our subwoofer on our desktop. We probably put it on the floor near a corner of the wall to get the maximum potential. Unfortunately SD10 works somewhat that way. You have to treat this thing like a subwoofer. Try it on the floor near a wall. You won't believe that was your disappointing SD 10 you brought earlier on. I do agree that this thing doesn't look good when place on the floor or feels good by not being visible. But the sound quality compensate it all If place correctly.
Sigh* I can only say this thing should be 5 stars. But due to placement limitation and the cost of this poor sound design I gave it 3.5 stars.
