Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile speaker (nylon)

Pros: Sounds great
Great WiFi distance
Easily connects (even for non-tech savy)
Works or syncs with everything but kitchen sink
Small with powerful sound
Looks great - anywhere you put it
Feels solid and durable
Battery DOES last 9-10 hours at mid setting

Cons: Price 4.5 - If priced lower it would Sell Out!
Older model Bluetooth phones have problems reconnecting
NOTE:internet forums stated connection problems with iPhones, iPads and MAC's, but could eventually connect if followed procedures. (We own none)

Wanted a wireless speaker for some time, researched everything I could could find on all types of WiFi speakers and personally liked the SoundLink overall. Almost overlooked the new SoundLink because of the old SoundLink model, which was the Bose SoundDock Portable that was priced extremely high due to the $100 battery. Judged them by 1)Sound, 2)WiFi, 3)Size, 4)Appearance, and 5)Price. Although I did not get to try all the speakers I did give them a solid rating from internet reviews by professionals and customers when needed. We were using some Mini Sphere speakers but wanted something with more sound and WiFi.

We use this SoundLink with 2 tablets, 3 laptops, 2 smart-phones, 2 dumb-phones(no bluetooth), 1 ipod, and 2 mp3 players. Wither it's used indoors or outdoors it sounds great, and with it's size it has been so easy to just pick it up and go. If the paired item is still in memory it almost always syncs back up with no problems. Twice it wouldn't sync back up with older LG Prime. Said it was paired and connected but only played audio on the phone, not the SoundLink. Having had friends over at the pool, on the lake, or in the garage it has synced up to 20+ phones and several tablets with ease(lots of people wanted to try it). We did get it to work with some iPhones and iPads but it took some effort through internet research.

Our biggest problem with it? It has been hard finding time for it to recharge! Buy the mobile charger (SoundDock Portable charger) if you plan to use it away from the house.
