Pros Bluetooth connectivity, size.
Cons Sound is 'ok', satellite speaker hard-wired to subwoofer cabinet.
Summary I strongly recommend you listen to these before ordering, especially if you plan on primally sourcing via bluetooth.
Kudos to Creative for releasing such an innovative speaker system at such an attractive price-point. Before purchasing these, consider the 'value' portion of the equation; either these speakers are an unheard-of value or there are compromises.
Sound Quality- My current PC/Subwoofer speakers sound very good. Be forewarned; if you're currently listening to 'good' speakers then you'll probably be let-down by the sound of these units. These aren't going to compete with any 'good' 2 or 3 piece system in terms of sound quality. In terms of volume these produce effective volume. In all, you'll find them a little bass-heavy with midrange sounding a little flat.
Bluetooth- connected quickly to my Macbook (white) and Blackberry within a minute. Having some problems when switching between the two. Make sure to try your devices.
Wiring- what a letdown. The right-channel speaker is hardwired to the subwoofer. Why not a DIN connector? If you want to put the subwoofer under your desk (good low-frequency response) the right-satellite won't pass-through a small cable-hole.
Overall these speakers will not compare on sound/price with wired speakers. If your soundstage moves frequently and you need bump-bass then give these a listen.
