Pros: sound is good, features are fun

Cons: was hard to get started with i-pod touch first generation. were able to get connected, but unable to hear sound or sync the clock. - the solution - take the skin/case off the ipod! then it worked great!

Summary: purchased for daughter for Christmas. We were disappointed with the amount of time it took to find the solution to not having sound, etc. We went through the itunes updates, etc and it still did not work until we took the case off the ipod touch. It appeared to be making a good connection with the case on, but it wasn't. So take that case off the ipod before you pack the thing up and take it back to the store.
