  • "Jambox not quite ready for prime time"
    on by MJGNYC

    Pros - slick look
    - decent sound
    - portable
    -

Cons - will not sync as advertised with all devices easily
    - see Internet for numerous pairing issue complaints
    - keeps dropping connection
    - bit pricey

Summary When you pay $200 for a single speaker that does not have a bass or treble adjustment feature you expect at a minimum that the product will be plug and play enabled without any issues. Unfortunately, this product, which has a lot promise, would not work on our IPads. After trying to upgrade software and adding plug-ins, wasting time, and reading similar numerous complaints on the net, I cut my losses and returned it.

  • "Excellent sound quality and construction"
    on by teuffelhunden

Pros Volume sufficient to fill a full room, and loud enough for outdoor patio; although not a substitute for larger outdoor speakers. Easy to carry and simple controls. Also doubles as a phone conference device. Great base response for a small profile.

Cons Price; but it is comparable to other similar devices.

Summary No regrets here. Very satisfied and would buy it again. Also, the upgrade software in MyTalk is a big plus.

  • "You don't get what you paid for"
    on by Deliciousdrips

Pros Well constructed, good quality feel

Cons Lack of bang for the buck, a little bit on the heavy side, struggled to pair with my iPhone

Summary For SURE not $200 worth of audio punch. I bought a BoomBotix BB2 for $64.99 and I'd much rather take THREE of those little guys over one Jawbone Jambox. The materials in the Jambox are nice, but the design is just not that clever....it's a brick.

  • "Ultraportable + excellent sound quality"
    on by adngeo

    Pros - small
    - easy to set up
    - stylish, minimalistic design
    - very good bass rendering
    - can be use as a bluetooth headset for conference calls (skype, etc..)
    - linked to multiple bluetooth devices at the same time (laptop, ipad, blackberry, etc..)
    - perfect

    Cons - pricey
    - no surround sound, you have to be in front of the device for getting the best sound rendering
    - doesn't sound that good when using it outdoors

Summary perfect companion for frequent travelers who want the best sound quality for their music in their hotel room

  • "Jambox is JAMMIN!"
    on by JJervah

Pros So easy to connect. Great sound out of such a small device - this is one of the BEST portable speakers I have ever possessed!

Cons Nothing. Multiple cables included, awesome options for multiple devices....there is literally nothing to dislike.

Summary Portable, small - yet HUGE sound, and connections to multiple platforms from more than 30 ft away. This is one of the best tech products I have ever possessed!!!
