Pros ipod dock, FM, bluetooth, headphone, AUX, and the switchable ipod dock
Cons too big to carry around, no alarm, need alot batteries to be portable, a little overpriced
Summary i only got this for one day~
it was alittle heavy than i expected but its really fine. i love the bluepin. it gives you the ability to use it with any bluetooth device. i use it for my macbook and my cellphone. it connects just right away! so no need to wait. the sound was decent(i compare my sister's self stereo system)
the remote seems to work fantastic for me. even though i didn't really use it in a long distance but i will try it.
overall if you want to spend the money on a decent ipod dock? get i399 and not i398(cuz no bluepin included)Updated
one bad thing is that if you use bluepin the sound isnt as great but its alrite for iLuv's series. And also, when you put in your ipod (i have 5G ipod video 30G) it will have buzzing sound which is quite annoying
Pros Features are adequate with Aux, Radio, iPod, Remote
Cons Hissing Sound when iPod id docked completly unacceptable.
Summary Not a bad unit other than when you dock the iPod - ISN'T that why anyone would buy it. At any volume below 10 the hissing sound is VERY noticeable and continues up the scale from there. With jiggling the iPod up a little on the docking pin the noise can be alleviated, at least until the iPod wants to settle back down on the pin. I'm returning my iLuv i399 to the store where I purchased for a refund.
