"Excellent for what it is intended." on by Ima Goob
Pros: Great sound, ease of use, durability, MP3 direct connect.
Cons: No remote, somewhat bulky.
Summary: This is a great boombox for tough environments. The sound is very good. The volume gets up there where you need it in a loud workshop or construction site. This is probably not the boombox for just casual use like the beach or your bedroom because of it's size. Although with that said, all of the buttons and the CD player are sealed against dust (sand) and it is water resistent (it can be sprayed/splashed with water) so it would be most excellent for the beach. If you have the room and desire to heft it around.

"Great for the backyard too!" on by Ice Nine
Pros: Features a line-in connection.
Cons: This unit is very large.
Summary: I bought this mainly for the audio line-in feature. I have 2-Zunes and there are only two Zune speaker cradles available. Both of them are very expensive ($200.00 & $500.00) and are for indoor use only. I would have rated this a 10 if it had USB charging capabilites. I needed something for indoors/oudoors and traveling. You can plug in any mini-stereo jack. This works with any MP-3 player, ipod, Zune, etc. The sound quality is excellent from the audio-in. I haven't tried the radio or CD player yet since I have 5,000+ songs on my Zune. This thing is big, tough, dust-proof, and waterproof. You can't drop it in a lake, but you don't have to worry about rain or hose spray. It also has a faily large storage compartment that can hold your AC adaptor, audio line, MP3 player, rubbers, etc. I would definitely check it out if you have a Zune. Available at Sears for $129.00 plus tax or Amazon $140.00. Now I can share my music anywhere without head-phones. My family loves it, my neighbors not so much.

"Piece of Junk" on by esmarg
Pros: Good sound quality
Cons: Stopped Working after a few months
Summary: I purchased this unit (after extensive research) for teaching dance classes because the sound quality was good and it was supposed to be "rugged" which I needed since I take it to various classes and have it in the back of my car. Within 3 months I was having problems with the CD player not always reading my burned CDs. I started jacking in with my IPOD which sounded OK, but sometimes during class it would suddenly switch from Aux (IPOD) over to CD. I went to start a class yesterday and it would not stay on. When I pushed the power button it would shut itself off within 2 seconds. So it appears to be dead after only 9 months.

"good but not durable" on by jimmyjohnss
Pros: good sound and easy to use
Cons: antenna broke and owned product less than 1 year
Summary: My experience is now it is frustrating to use because it is hard to pull the antenna up because it came apart (without any force I might add)...and the main reason I have it is to use it outside where you need the antenna!
