"PLK300 uses your electrical outlets to enable internet"
Pros: The PLK300 is different from other powerline adapters because it allows you to connect up to 4 devices and only taking up one electrical outlet.
You will not need a computer to setup the adapters.Cons: The price is a little high compared to other products but the benefit of having 4 devices connected to the internet through one device is worth it.

"Simple Ethernet using your house electrical wiring."
Pros: Simple plug and play setup. Fast connection (faster than wireless), great for streaming video, perfect for getting your TV or Blu-ray player hooked up to the internet.
Cons: Haven't come across one yet. It's a bit pricey I suppose, but cheaper and less of a hassle than pulling cable. It's really a good value for what it does and for it's ease of setup.

Pros: Bought at the store, plugged it in, and it works. No drivers to download, software to install, just plug and go in the internet. Expanded it with a PLE300 for the computer downstairs, where the wireless signal wouldn't reach. Very satisfied.
Cons: The PLK300 is available in store. The PLE300 isn't, had to buy online.
