Neat and tidy, no fuss, stylish and quick

Pros: clean,simple, basic, very quick

Cons: hard to set up, very basic browser items unavailable. Bookmarks hard to transfer

Review: All in all I like the neat clean lines. Its quick and at first appearance easy to use. Frustrating tryinf to up load bookmarks comapared to Firefox which uploaded the bookmarks by its self. I like that its quite basic and not a lot of fiddle complicated stuff. Tabs are not easy to work. Not sure about the security side of the browser....

Who needs 5 toolbars cluttering browsing space?

Pros: Extremely fast

Cons: Too little settings

Review: This is a great browser but it should have more settings! Keep up the speed apple! The good thing is that it dosen't have 4 or 5 toolbars like Internet Explorer.

The Best Web Browser, Hands Down

Pros: Tabbed Browsing, Built in Google Search box, Easy to customize, Displays sites better then Firefox...

Cons: Tabs aren't turned on by default, crashes quite often...

Review: I love Safari! I have been a long time Windows user and finally got an iMac last week, and Safari is the best browser available. I love the features which compare a lot to those of Firefox but best of all is how Safari displays webpages almost exactly like Internet Explorer. Websites that I viewed in Firefox that weren't loading right load fine on Safari. With all of these pros there are a few very minor flaws. First off, the tabs aren't turned on by default, which I think kind of sucks because of how popular tabbed browsing has become. It's not too big of a deal though because tabs have their own 'tab' I guess you could say in the Preferences window, so turning them on is a 'click'. The biggest problem with Safari is that it has to close unexpectedly quite often (at least several times a day) when viewing certain web pages. Even navigating to a C|Net Reviews web page resulted in Safari needing to close in a hurry. This isn't much of a problem on Mac OS X however because once you tell Safari to 'Force close' it does and doesn't sit there like programs do on Windows.

All in all I am very impressed with Safari and wished there was a Windows version (so I could use it on my HP notebook).

Safari completely schools IE, Netscape, Firefox, and other browsers

Pros: Built-in tabbed browsing, Google search box, and RSS features, privae browsing, extremely fast and secure

Cons: Doesn't display all sites.

Review: Safari is one of the perks of owning a Mac. I just reccently switched from Windows XP Pro SP2 to Mac OS X Tiger and one of the first things I noticed was the speed of Safari. To compare Safari with Internet Explorer 6 SP2 for Windows, I tried loading the same website on both browsers. Even though IE had a head start, Safari still beat it with flying colors. It is also faster than the IE and Netscape browsers for OS X. In addition, the built-in Google search bar is extremely convenient for searching.

Safari is a Nice Browser

Pros: Fast, easy to use, simple interface

Cons: Only for Macintosh

Review: As I am an Opera user I often don't care for the "simple" IE alternatives such as Firefox. But when I got my iBook I really like Safari. It is very simple and much faster than Firefox, but not Opera.

The new RSS feature wasn't as good compared to Opera's, but it certainly worked and is useful for when I am using Safari.

I'm hoping now that Safari is open source we'll see it appear on the Windows and Linux platforms. This will provide another great browser choice to users.

fast, reliable, secure... What more could you want?

Pros: The best for Mac. All the latest features, speedy, secure, and easy on the eyes

Cons: Some web designers are lazy so if they wrote specifically for IE, it won't work as well

Fastest on the Mac

Pros: Fast, bookmarks in toolbar, private browsing

Cons: no pull-down bookmark menu, no multiple-tab startup

Review: Safari runs faster on my powerbook than firefox or IE.

Nice organizing of bookmarks in the toolbar, added bonus of "private browsing." Haven't found any sites yet that don't support it.

My only gripe is not being able to save mulitple tabs as my start up page (as in firefox), and lacking the full menu of choices when I pull down the bookmark menu.

However, the speed makes up for the minor downsides.

I like it! Now it's my primary browser.

Pros: Faster rendering ... seems to even download files faster

Cons: Can't really think of anything

Review: As a long time user of IE and Opera, this new Safari has finally surpassed them in ease of use, speed and functionality.

Yes, there are a few site that won't work with Safari ... but then again I feel they're not worthy of my attention or business.

What a browser is suppose to be!

Pros: Everything

Cons: I'm still looking.

Review: Windows users don't know what their missing. If your looking for the best secure, stable and user friendly browser, your gonna have to switch to the best secure, stable and user friendly operating system... Mac OS X. It's that simple!

Safari RSS brought me back

Pros: rendering speed, implementation of RSS

Cons: no find as you type

Review: I am a regular Firefox user, and used Safari only occasionally. Safari RSS brought me back to Safari. I still use Firefox for most of my web work, but I use Safari for all sites that I subscribe to, and now also for most of the online news that I follow. It also seems to render some pages nicer.

Very good browser for Mac users to get used to.

Pros: Relatively easy format, no known security flaws as of today.

Cons: Less customizable than other browsers, especially Firefox or Opera 8.

Review: Safari seems to be the best browser for Mac computers. It has tabbed browsing and other features, although it is lacking in the plugin department (which Firefox succeeds at). I have used both Firefox and Safari on Macs and find that they both operate very well. Frankly, you can stick to the Safari that came with the computer and not download the Firefox browser on your Mac (but do so on your PC!).

Pretty good, missing some stuff

Pros: Quick start up, fast page rendering, pdf's open in browser, RSS feed

Cons: No option for asking user to accept cookies- it's all or nothing, brushed metal appearance

Review: Pretty good browser.
Fast opening, fast page rendering.
Miss some features from other browsers-ability to select when to accept cookies, adding extensions.

Brilliant browser with very clear user interface

Pros: Super fast, RSS reader is the best I've ever seen

Cons: Web sites that have a problem with anything but IE hate Safari but who cares

Review: Web browsers don't come better than Safari. The interface is well designed. Tabbed browsing is a must have and the RSS reader is absolutely gorgeous. When an RSS feed slides onto the screen you just have to admire Apple's designers. I regret going to work where I am forced to use Windows and Internet Explorer. Someone give Bill Gates an Apple computer with Safari RSS and let him try and justify inflicting IE on the world.

Forms are a pain to navigate

Pros: Very Fast and the RSS feeds are the best feature

Cons: Forms are hard to navigate using the tab key. Skips over check boxes and drop down menus. Some sites won't allow safari browser.

Review: I think Safari is the best browser on the Mac platform. It makes me queezy to think it's built off of KDE's old browser but hopefully that will change. Apple: FIX THE FORM NAVIGATION.

I truly like it, and i got rid of msft

Pros: It has everything it should have

Cons: can't find any

Review: I wish, and this is not an opinion, but a big wish , that everyone could have and give a chance to Apple and could try Safari and all the Apple products, then you would understand why we are Mac Zealots, hehehhehe, and we love our platform
