Google has released the beta version of a new browser, Chrome. In its comic-book preannouncement, Google stated correctly that watching videos, chatting, and even playing Web-based games didn't exist when browsers were first invented. Google wants the browser to help users focus on the applications and pages they are viewing, rather than on browser toolbars and buttons. Google has rethought the Internet browser--some of its basic underpinnings are quite novel--but users will recognize some features as they exist in other, open-source browsers on the market today.
At the moment, only the Windows version of Chrome is available for download. Plans call for Mac OS X and Linux versions in the near future. That said, Google has released Chrome in 43 languages and in 122 countries.
Chrome is based on the open-source project Webkit, the same rendering engine used by Apple Safari. If a page renders in Safari, it will render in Chrome. Webkit is also the basis for Android, Google's mobile platform, so it seems that Google is planning to use Chrome in mobile environments.
The interface in Chrome is very different from other browsers and takes a little getting used to. Instead of the traditional Netscape/IE-style toolbar across the top, Chrome puts tabs across the top. Moreover, the tabs are detachable, so the terms "tabs" and "windows" become interchangeable within Chrome. Detached tabs can be dragged and dropped into the browser, and tabs can be rearranged at any time.
New tab pages display your nine most visited Web pages, as well as the searches you perform most, and your most recent bookmarks. Within each tab are individual controls, such as forward and back buttons. Missing is the search box. Instead, Chrome sports a hybrid address bar, which Google calls the Omnibox. The Omnibox includes not only suggestions for URLs culled from your browser's history, but it also includes search suggestions from Google. URL Auto completion in Chrome is for top-level domains, not just some individual page you last visited on a site. There are also other neat additional elements; for example, if you go to Amazon and type within its search box to find a book or CD, Chrome remembers that Amazon search and when it next suggests the Amazon URL in the Omnibox, it also include a link to Amazon's search box.
Application Shortcuts is a feature that allows you to create desktop icons for Web-only applications, such as Gmail or Calendar.
And there's a stealth mode, as well. Like IE8 InPrivate, Chrome has its own incognito mode. The Incognito window looks different: it's darker and has a little detective character in the upper left corner to help you remember it's not remembering the Web sites you visit. Although the Omnibox in Incognito has access to the regular Chrome history, everything typed into that stealth tab will be erased when you exit, as though you were never there.
Chrome deals with pop-up dialogues in a novel way. Pop-ups associated with a Web page appear within that page's tab, so if you want to see a pop-up in greater detail, just drag it out into its own new window. This carries over to downloads as well. Instead of using a pop-up dialogue, downloads are shunted to the bottom of the tab frame where you can monitor or interact with them if you wish.
Because of isolating each tab's process, if one tab in Chrome crashes, the entire browser does not. This is similar to a feature within IE8 beta 2. In terms of security, isolating tabs means each tab is in its own sandbox. Applets launched on a page within Chrome are read-only, do not install to the operating system, and cannot access data already on the hard drive.
To diagnose why a page didn't load, there's a task manager within Chrome, allowing you to see what process is using memory, even within the plug-ins running on that tab. So, if a Shockwave or Flash file is consuming a lot of memory and preventing a page to launch, you can shut down that process and still load the page.
Google acknowledges up front that having separate processes for separate tabs will create more memory usage, but the Mountain View company says the browser will use less memory over time. For example, when you close a tab in Chrome, you end the memory process completely, freeing up more memory for future use. In a traditional browser, fragments remain running in case you want to reopen the closed tab or as an artifact in how new tabs are created in old browsers. Chrome features enhanced garbage collection, migrating or generally sweeping up pointers as needed instead of leaving them behind. The trade-off, of course, is that closed tab pages cannot be reopened, a feature currently available in Firefox 3 and IE8 Beta 2.
Chrome includes its own Javascript Virtual Machine called V8. Google says that existing JVMs were designed to run tiny applets on Web pages, not full applications of the kind that Google makes today. Among the changes within V8, Chrome combines similar Javascript classes for better optimization, and it doesn't interpret Javascript but converts it to machine code to execute on the CPU, which speeds up the process. V8 is also open source and will be available to developers wanting to use it in the future.
How stable is this beta from Google? Google caches hundreds of millions of Web pages for its search engine; the Gears folks say they've been able to test Chrome on millions of pages within seconds of completing each new build. Using Google page rank, they test against the most popular sites. With public beta testing, they'll start testing against some of the more niche pages on the Web.
Check back for a full, rated review once Chrome is finalized.

An all around solid and efficient browser
Pros: Simple interface, the sync option that allows you to save all settings and bookmarks to your Google account, the ability to pull tabs into their own window which is an option you don't have with IE
Cons: In the past I have had issues with Chrome crashing on me which can get annoying. Still incompatible with certain websites so having a backup browser is necessary.

Fastest, cleanest browser around. Give it more time
Pros: Very fast. Clean user interface. The omnibox offers customizable shortcuts to search the engine of your choice (type "wp" to search a topic on wikipedia, "amz" to search amazon, etc.). Splitting a tab into a new window is easy and useful.
Cons: Extensions API isn't complete so not all extensions are available yet (notably missing is a good implementation of RoboForm). Some websites don't work in Chrome, but not Chrome's fault. mailto hyperlinks don't open gmail; seems like an oversight.
The Omnibox is much easier to use than the two-box method of FF, IE, and Opera. They don't seem to advertise it very well, but you can add numerous search engines and give them custom keywords to easily search a specific site. I added some common ones: Wikipedia (wp), eBay (ebay), Amazon (amz), Google Maps (maps), Google News (news) etc. So searching becomes very fast:
- wp Something (searches wikipedia for "something")
- amz Something (searches Amazon for "something")
- etc.
It is unfortunate that this searching functionality isn't more well-known. It is much faster than the two-box method where you have to click, then select the search engine, then type.
I read one review that said bookmark management needs work; I don't understand that review at all. I have no problems with bookmarks. Chrome has built-in bookmark sync, which is nice. I also very much like the History searching and file download implementations; much better than other browsers.
My one complaint is that google did not add an option that makes "mailto" links open with Gmail (or another choice of web-based browser). I mean really; who is using desktop-based email these days? There is an extension that makes mailto links open in gmail, but it doesn't always work based on the frames of the webpage where the link is located; if Google had implemented their own mailto handler there would be tighter integration with their products. They should have done this.
Overall, a terrific browser.

Chrome is simplicity itself.
Pros: Google Chrome is a simple, fast, stylish and easy web browser, it gives outstanding results for who tries it, with its speed and simply shape, it gets over populated than IE and mostly because IE has to load toolbars and extensions etc which slows it
Cons: Google chrome is recommended, its user-friendly, easy to use, easy to connect and unlike the internet explorer, Chrome loads the home page, whatever it is, much faster than Internet Explorer.
Speed, style, themes, extensions, quick updates and tabs, those just make Google Chrome ideal for users.

I like it now, may get bored and go back to Firefox
Pros: Never crashes...very rare that it happens
Screen stays large for web, not used up by toolbars and crap
Keeps things simple
Cons: Unable to email a web page or site simply, cannot just click on a spot on toolbar and send it...I have had to copy & paste the address inside an email.
Simplicity also has cons...not able to add new toolbars or many selections to the present toolbar
Updated on Jan 24, 2010Oh...I forgot to say that I absolutely love searching in the address bar

Good Bye Firefox! You Did Me Wrong...
Pros: Fast and Stable...great!
Cons: Yeah....none so far.
Back to Chrome. Chrome is somewhat resource heavy, opening each tab as a separate process. It's essential to the overall performance of the browser which makes it faster and prevents crashes. Also, unless you're working on an old computer with very little RAM and space, it shouldn't matter. Compare opening 6 separate Tabs in Chrome and six in Firefox, then work on both for about 20 - 30 minutes opening different sites in each tab and watch as Firefox's memory usage climbs to whopping levels and Chrome's initially higher usage stays relatively stable. That my friends is called good computing!
Give me something predictable that works and doesn't test my patience. The google team have offered that. Good Job You Evil Controlling almost Fascist Geeks! You made the trains run on time...HA!

Fantastic browser
Pros: This browser is as fast as Opera or Safari and uses less space on your screen. it is an extremely easy-to-use browser and fairly intuitive for beginning Internet users.
Cons: I'm not fond of having to open a new tab for bookmarks. I also do not like having the bookmark menu open as this defeats the purpose of having a streamlined look. That's the biggest complaint.

Individual Photos display:-
Lets take up this situation, a set of photos are opening on a page during a bad network connection and most of the photos are half or partially displayed, in firefox if we right clicked on the half displayed photo and select "view image" the photo will be opened in another window/tab and can be downloaded individually by refreshing that window/tab. this is not available in Chorme.

Lots of potential-But still a work in progress
Pros: Easy to download and install; faster and more stable than IE. Nifty bookmark and spell check features.
Cons: Primitive ad blocking functionality with limited add-ons; User interface not everyone's cup of tea; some applications won't work with it.
The first thing I noticed, was the clean, simple user interface. In reading other reviews people seem to either love it or hate it, but I have to say I love it. It's simple, with the basic features to hand, allowing more viewing area in the window. One thing though: there is no button to return you to your home page, but this is easily remedied by placing it on the bookmark bar.
The bookmark bar is a nifty feature that allows you to specify the sites you visit most and access them with one click. Another great thing is it comes with a spell check, something IE should have included long ago. Most of the major programs, such as Windows Media, Real Player and Flash work with it easily. If, however, you're addicted to MSN games, like I am, you've got a problem. They're incompatible with Chrome. Now, granted Firefox users complain about the same problem, it seems a bit silly in this day and age for a browser not to be able to access certain applications.
Another gripe is ad blocking functionality. There is plenty of third party applications out there to block at least the most annoying ads, but few have, of yet, been written for Chrome. One simple program, called Adblock + is a Java add-in which gets placed in our bookmark list. When you access a site you click it from the bookmark list and it blocks the ads. This is a nuisance, because the flash applications you might want are inaccessible. The only other decent application seems to be a program called Privoxy, which you basically need a degree in electronics to install and use. I downloaded it, followed the instructions, but cannot get it to work with Chrome. About the only thing that comes with Chrome is a popup blocker that does OK, but I would have wished for more. Another annoyance is that it lets in a ton of cookies and other adware. The settings allow you to restrict the functionality of certain cookies, but does not tell you how they are restricted.
All in all, Chrome is a good program, but it has a ways to go before it becomes great. Once more add-ins, such as a decent ad blocker are written for it, and better handling of cookies and malware, I think I'll be going back to my buggy, crash-prone IE for a while, until Chrome evolves a bit more into the excellent browser it has the potential of becoming.

A great relief from overly-cluttered browsers
Pros: It's very fast, and isn't a memory hog most of the time. The interface is easy to use - and easy to get used to. The frequently visited sites page is great.
Cons: Since it's Safari-based, not all pages work like they would with Internet Explorer or Explorer-based browsers. The bookmarks system could be better

Great Browser with plenty of muscle
Pros: Fast! Fast! Fast!
Right after booting up windows, clicking the chrome icon brings up the browser in less than 5 seconds. Very clean and simple interface
Cons: None to speak of really... It's a good option for browsing. Definitely a contender to fight firefox. Internet Explorer is now officially a joke and is in a distant 3rd place.

Fast, small, stable. Great browser!
Pros: Independent tab processes are great for security and stability! Multi-threading aspect allows you to load multiple flash and javascript-filled windows simultaneously and loads them without you having to babysit each one. Expandable text boxes--YES!
Cons: I don't like the look of the Gui. Google ought to leave the standard windows menu bar at the top of the screen in order to allow it to conform to the "windows look" better. Also, the merged address bar and search box, takes some time to get used to.
Rendered webpages look similar to Firefox and are almost as appealing to the eye as IE's. Most every keyboard shortcut is similar to Firefox making the switch remarkably uneventful. But the "Omnibox" url bar takes some getting used to. I kept hitting tab when I wanted to search in order to get to the nonexistent search box. When text size is too small, Chrome has wisely chosen to include a zoom function which only zooms in on text rather than the entire webpage like IE.
Overall, I am won over by its lightning fast speed and low system resource use. Aside from a few quibbles regarding interface and windows conformity issues, I definitely recommend this product.

Overall a great browser!!!
Pros: Sleek looking, easy to use, a lot of convenient shortcuts, fast
Cons: Honestly, I don't have any cons
you can change the homepage to whatever you like. When you type in a web address or search, it will have a drop down menu of possible matches, for example you type goo a drop down will appear with google.com. If you don't want your web pages to go into the history all you have to do is click on the "incognito" option and that easy you have complete privacy. I have been using this browser for months now and I must say I don't have one complaint. Overall this is a great browser!!!

Cons: When testing the beta, I found that it could unexpectedly close when navigating tabs. I assume that this problem will be fixed in the final version. Another was that the minimalist initerface could make finding tools difficult.

If all you want is SPEED this is it!
Pros: Simple and clean (uncluttered) browser.
Cons: No add-ons but that's OK. All i need is the speed i don't get out of IE or Firefox

Awesome, but fatally flawed
Pros: Chrome is lightning fast, extremely easy to use, and one of the most friendly, intuitive programs I've ever used. Things like remembering what pages you had open are just super. It beats Microsoft's IE and Firefox on almost every feature.
Cons: No field autofill. PDF files cannot be viewed but must be downloaded. Form resubmission message that pops up every once in a while causes you to lose info on the page. There are things you expect, like a better bookmark management, that aren't there.

Amazing Browser: Efficient, Fast, & Easy!!!
Pros: Simply start typing into the address bar, and unlike Firefox, which has "suggestions" that you have to click on, simply press enter, and it will AUTOFILL your site!
Also, simply type a search query into the address bar, and get instant results
Cons: Not yet available for other platforms.

Simple but almost too simple
Pros: Simple, clean and easy to use interface, incognito mode, ultra fast, good new tab features.
Cons: Poor bookmarking management, no extensions or add-ons, lack of customization or advanced settings, almost too simple.

I used to love it, but...
Pros: I love the look and the functionality of it, and how you can search from the address bar.
Cons: It doesn't run plug-ins like Flash or Shockwave well, it only seems to run Quicktime. And it was fast for a while, but has slowed down for me in the past few days.

Pros: Faster opening of web pages, browsing is faster, sleek and soft in looks and design.
Cons: Not meant for online gaming. Online games cannot be played with ease as the browser hangs for short durations of intervals.

Google should stick to Search
Pros: None , it a good key logger
Cons: Very sure its a key logger.
Google should really respect a user right to privacy , this product clearly sends a message we do not care about privacy all we care is how we can get $$ for everytime one surfs the web.

An extremely good browser
Pros: Extremely good browser, very 'bare-bones' (which I like), easy to use, even faster than Firefox 3 without plugins installed and even the latest Minefield with Tracemonkey
Cons: I don't like that there is no 'sort by name' function on the bookmarks menu, don't like that there isn't a click on button (at least that I have found) to bring up the bookmarks menu

Great, simple browser.
Pros: Simplicity, Good user experience and easy to get started with
Cons: No addons, not many configuration possibilities.
Overall i find the browser great if you just use the browser to browse. Tho hardcore users might stick with Firefox or Opera and people who don't care with IE. I still prefer.

Faster and I feel this browser is overrated
Pros: Very light product. Good real estate management for the User Interface.
Starts new process for each tab so kind of crash proof.
Cons: The incognito mode is not really secret as you might think.
Check my comments below
Firstly, the incognito mode doesnt work as advertised.if you render anything like a video file
in chrome,it gets recorded in your internet explorer history.
I am saying this becaus eI used it to watch some porn and I discovered that my wife can see
the sites I visited just by checking the inernet explorer.
Secondly, anything you download in the incognito mode is stored as well in the default
Download folder in your documents.
So I would advise,if you wanna browse without being watched afterwards, just go the tried and true way of deleting your traces, because this just doesnt work
Honestly,I expected more from the Google core engineers who boast of hiring the best in the industry.

elegant, fast, growing every day!
Pros: Chrome is extremely stable and quick for a beta product. Google has a long history of perfecting its software before going live. The interface is elegant and fresh, the tabs work wonderfully, and so far I have not had a single instability issue.
Cons: There are admittedly a lack of features right now, but given the open-source nature of Chrome, I promise you that there will be a robust community of home-brewed add-ons. The future is very promising for Google's new baby!
Happy Browsing!! To all the naysayers out there, just give it some time. Google Chrome may very well be the next big thing.

Great Browser, Fast and Okay.
Pros: This product is fast compared to the other browsers I've used. Easy to use and has the essential things in the toolbar.
Cons: May or doesn't work with some plug ins eg. Java. When you scroll on a laptop, you can scroll down but not up and have to use the keyboard arrows.
Updated on Apr 10, 2009Update: The scroll up works now.

Looks promising, waiting on full version
Pros: -Great interface!
-I love the integrated address/search bar
-Cool snapshots of recent sites
-Easy favorites adder
-Nice download tracking
-Migrates Firefox preferences and settings well
-Love the pop-up blocking
-No annoying ads all over the pages
Cons: -After opening a few tabs, links get slow
-When the page loads, there is no real indicator of how soon the page will finish
-When the page loads, there is no real indicator of how soon the page will finish there is a semi-circle that rotates to the top left but I like knowing how long it ill take to finish loading the page.
-Love the pop-up blocking--there are some blog sites I love to visit that use like flash pop-ups that cover the entire screen temporarily until you click ignore. Chrome seemed to handle these quite well being that I did not get disturbed once while reading blogs or other sites that use that type of pop-up.
What would be nice is if you can have your most popular/favorite sites you visited like widget -styled to the right of the browser. I have Gmail and a gmail widget would be nice in the browser off to the side while surfing I guess.
Overall: I like it, but I can't say it is a 5 just yet, right now it is about 3 1/4 ready. I can't give it a 4 just yet because it has not wowed me (as Microsoft would say) just yet.
Thanks Google for making life easier online!

Not all that great
Pros: Has a nice interface
Cons: Lacks the menu bar above tabs, and ability to add that.
Doesn't allow me to set "allow cookie for site I visit" and instead forces us to compile a list.

So far so good!!!
Pros: Really simple and sleek interface. It does well with tabbed browsing and load up times. Incognito mode is also a cool feature. I really hope that after this goes official, it will be even better than the Beta.
Cons: Lack of expandability for now, other than that I don't see anything wrong with this browser.

Absolute Pleasure to use! But still in Beta...
Pros: Very Quick loading of apps and webpages, Neat and non-cluttered look, quick launch, doesn't hog RAM
Cons: Lacks support for a few webpages, sometimes you don't feel like you've clicked a link at all, a few bugs because it is still In BETA!!:S
Get it if you want a browser for Web apps and fast browsing, but remember, it's still in beta, so there are quite a few bugs.
I'd say, give it a try, but stick to Firefox until Chrome comes out of beta.

What a power user was looking for
Pros: Neat interface
More "screen real estate" for user
Advanced features like enabling remote search on sites like amazon(this is pretty cool)
Cons: Chrome turns nasty to hog lot of ram space. Base app takes around 3-45MB and an average 15-25 MB per web pages. Since it release the memory as soon as the tab is closed, it shouldnt be a big problem :)
Extensions not supported by this release

FAST! Best Browser yet
Pros: It is fast and simple. it NEVER hangs and has no bugs to my knowledge, which makes one wonder why it is even called a beta. It contains a user interface that combines simplicity, beauty, and elegance.
Cons: Just released so no add-ons. I trust these will be added in time, though when one is able to zip to web pages, the lack of goodies is barely noticable

Simple ... ideal for simpletons
Pros: Functions as advertised

Impressed with speed, ease of adoption
Pros: Sheer speed...from browser load to page load. Tab/frame manipulation and detachment is beautiful. UI is clean and uncluttered. I like the independence of each tab, and the protection it provides between tabs.
Cons: Awaiting third-party extensions.

just the right size
Pros: speed and interface
Cons: unfamiliar
But for those who would rather pare down and zip around in something like a sports car or BMW M3, THIS IS THE BROWSER FOR YOU!
This is the fundamental opposite of bloatware, and its ability to immediately help you get around faster is excellent testimony that I.E. is in serious trouble.
Chrome is to electric sports car as Internet Explorer is to Greyhound Ticket--it couldn't be more simple.

Fast, but few features
Pros: Fast and don't use many computer resources.
Adds more competition on the market.
Cons: Not customizable, I'm using FF3 right now, even sightly slower the lack of addons make it not worth it.
When i tried Chrome I really missed mouse gestures and a sidebar.
But a nice option for those still on IE that won't be messing up with addons.

Chrome 80MB Footprint vs IE8 360MB Footprint
Pros: Very fast running heavy Javascript apps like GMail
Search box and URL box combined - very good predictive search of desirable URLs
Cons: I would like to see Firefox incorporate the multi-threaded Javascript engine. Plug-ins come in at the bottom of the screen, and I didn't notice it right away. Plug-ins coming in at the middle of the screen might help me deal with them.

Google should have upgraded Firefox instead.
Pros: The process & memory improvements are good and much needed.
Cons: Adds another browser product to the market already over-saturated with options.
Bookmark management needs improvement.
Since Google is working so closely with Mozilla they could and should have integrated their improvements into an existing browser instead of making yet another brand. As a web developer I'm already sick to death of making my sites "work" with the various browsers. Chrome is just one more damned thing to deal with, and all because Google couldn't get past the "not invented here" syndrome.

Chrome is buggy, but may survive.
Pros: Clean front end.
Cons: Bookmarks? Hello? How? Oh where are you hiding?

Freaking fast, yet simple
Pros: Everything
Cons: Absolutley nothing
Bookmarks. Even tho Chrome doesn't have a bookmark engine as roubst as the one found in mozilla, if you use Chrome correctly it's even more powerful than any other browser so far.
Imagine that you need to send some information regarding a school project, which is a mix of docs, xsl, pdfs, and web pages. You can put all the files in a folder, but not the web pages as such, you will need to write the URLs in a doc. That way the bookmark capability as powerful as you want of a browser, comes down to nothing. Even worst, if you write down the URLs in a doc, it will be virtually impossible to find a particular page if you use the info in another PC, you will need to write some info before the URL in the same doc to remember what it was about, open it to search what you want, and still you wont be able to find it directly from the OS search engine.
Well this is fixed with the "application shortcut" that comes with Chrome. Even tho it's called application shortcut, you can basicly save any webpage with that tool, and then send it to any folder in any storage device, enabling the OS to find the webpage as a file. Saving a lot of time when you need to link a particular web page to a particular folder. It's just amazing, and way beyond bookmarks. When people find out about the practicity of this option, bookmarks will be part of the past. Having web pages direct links stored as files will make the life easier to everyone.
Tabs and windows: The way in which is possible to detach, group, ungroup, and switch tabs from one window to another is just amazing.
Speed: I'm running Chrome right now in a laptop with 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB ram, and Vista 64bit. So it runs smooth just as all the other browsers available.
The difference comes when opening new pages, it loads em really, and I mean it, really fast. When I go from Chrome back to Mozilla or IE 8, it makes me feel like going back from DSL to Dial up... seriously.
Chrome gives me what I want, and fits me perfectly. Even tho the auto flash play is sometimes annoying.

New but next to useless
Pros: It appears fast, memory useage appears good, private mode
Cons: Fails to display any pictures on any sites, failed repeatedly to save homepage, took 3 attempts to remember most visited sites and got it wrong, most features are not easy to find, feels a bit slapped together and chucked on the market too soon
My concern on this is the amount of emphasise put on how well it will display adverts. I hate adverts and using Firefox I can eliminate most of them. I think that Google is more interested in this browser being a form of an advertising tool rather than a browser for the masses. My other problem with this is compared to Firefox, this is just not user friendly. It may appeal to the geeks but for most people if you was to put them in front of the two browsers and asked them to use them for a few minutes, I would expect almost 100% would pick Firefox. Firefox just works for you whereas this wants you to work how it wants you to work and for me I put programmes on my computer to either work for me or to make what I want to do easier and this fails in every respect.

Massive design flaw
Pros: Almost everything, particularly the independence of each page
Cons: As a heavy user of "Favourites" - am I the only one? - I am EXTREMELY disappointed that Chrome ignores its centrality to the browsing experience. In particular, I want to be able to EASILY play around with my favourites in a file manager sort of way.

Slick Fast and fun but already hit a couple snags
Pros: Love minimalist design and fast browsing. Tabbed browsing seems like a great idea and I've already started taking advantage of this feature by reorganizing and separating my work areas online. Incognito is sweeeeeeet.
Cons: No right-click reload for us PC people. Sure I can hit F5 or click the refresh button up top but that takes to long when one hand is holding a can of soda. Found some bugginess when using AJAX, specifically in Facebook. Check album or 3rd party apps.

It IS FAST and beyond simple.
Pros: Everything. It downloaded and installed in less than a minute. It runs beautifully on my 64 bit Vista Ultimate SP1 Notebook. It "looks" nice. Everything I've done with it today loaded and worked flawlessly.
Cons: So far, nothing!
Now....IE 8. Not all that great. Beta 1 was boring, it took forever to move to Beta 2 which presented a painful uninstall and reinstall. Now Beta 2 is a memory sow that is slow and gets bogged down and unresponsive.
I really don't understand what is going on in Redmond. They need to get their act together and INNOVATE before GOOGLE walks all over them. I'm still loyal to you MS but I really need you to WOW me. The new GOOGLE browser just did.

Pros: Opens up on my 5 yr old computer at least 2 times faster than firefox (I only have noscript and compact classic addons running).
Cool Design

Pros: Incognito is really useful for browsing. The look and fell of the browser is great.
