Pros: Great interface, security, clean browsing
Cons: Not all current extensions work, but that should change after Beta
Summary: Same great browser, with new features. I have to respectfully disagree with CNET's reviewer, as it appears it is IE7 that has been playing catch up with FireFox, not the other way around.

"Same great browser, fewer calories"
Pros: Seems faster, still intuitive and easy to use
Cons: Tab issues (see below), high memory requirements (3 tabs open now using 140MB-all narrowband sites)
Summary: Firefox 2 beta is a great browser. You cant expect major improvements from the previous version, but it is still a breeze to use, and full of features.

"firefox. thats all u need to know"
Pros: new features
Cons: huge memory usage!
Summary: its basically a polished FF 1.5 with inbuilt popular extensions(i.e. tab mix plus, g toolbar, etc.) i just wish they worked on memory usage!!

Pros: Security enhancments, overall better looking
Cons: Not that many feature additions

"Are extension design & memory leak fixed yet??"
Pros: Much better features than IE
Cons: Bugs and design flaws that should never have been released taking a REALLY long time to get fixed.
Summary: IMHO FF is a great browser, significantly advancing the design of web browsers after MS dropped the ball.
However, the time it has taken to address a couple of pretty significant design flaws has been holding back further adoption.
