"I can't launch Firefox 3"
Pros: none I can see so far
Cons: Can't launch it
Summary: What is going on? I reinstalled Firefox 3, 3 times!!! Uninstalling in between. I have no trouble with IE, Safari, Avant and HAD no problems with Firefox 2. i'm running Win XP Home Ed. I got a Mozilla Crash Report which means nothing to me. Help!!!!

I had the same problem and reinstalled FF many times. What i was suspicious of was the bad behavior of other applications too. Such as MS Word wouldn't save a file and hanged during saving a file or Babylon couldn't find any dictionaries. I checked the HD and C drive for possible bad sectors and found none. What I did next was:
Checked : c:\Documents and Setting\(myaccount)
and no way! Access was denied! I checked the security tab, change the ownership and WOW!
Now everything goes fine.

It sounds like a security program isn't allowing the program to launch.
