"Better than TI-83 plus." on by Catullus
Pros: Essentials & cheap.
Cons: The calculator is unnecessarily large.
Summary: Seriously, there is no reason to get TI-84 plus silver edition.
All it has is little more memory, and you don't need that much unless you are planning to put plenty of games in there.
But, calculator games are mostly boring, and people play games on the computer, gameboys, or consoles, not calculators.
Seriously, it is not worth it to get silver edition. They say it's better b/c it has all these softwares, but they don't help you a bit in calculation. Most of them are geometry lessons or other unnecessary and most basic stuffs.
Only thing bad about this is that this is so large that you won't be able to carry it around in your pocket.

The TI-84 Plus Silver Edition has more applications that assist you in what the calculator is.

This calculator can take you all the way through High School and College, especially with some of the extra programs (eg the Periodic Table packed full with info).
