Pros Great bluetooth connectivity and very good sound
Cons A little tricky establishing bluetooth connection to my Blackberry Pearl, but once I gave the system a code before trying to connect, everything worked well.
Summary The system sounds great and works very well with the bluetooth in my Blackberry Pearl. The voice dial requires the pushing of only one button. The system takes some learning, but if you are into this level of technology, you can probably follow directions well enough to make it work. The only thing I didn't find well laid out in the directions was the establishment of a security code for the head unit before attempting to connect with a phone. This was required for my Blackberry, but it was not required when connecting with my wife's Cingular 8100. Overall, this is a very nice unit.
Pros six bluetooth profiles perfectly implemented
Cons klunky menu structure
Summary I bought this unit because I have a blackberry smart phone and I wanted the bluetooth interface for it.
JVC has implemented six bluetooth profiles and so offers the deepest richest bluetooth interface yet in an aftermarket CD player.
I works perfectly with my 8800 blackberry. It transfered my blackberry address book and recent call list. That's a very hard thing to get right, and they've done it. Flawless so far.
It comes with an interface for a USB key for music. I tested very high rate and variable rate WMA and MP3 files and all played perfectly. The USB connection is via a wire that can be placed wherever you want it.
The CD loads behind the faceplate, but after loading up a USB flash unit, I've not used the CD player.
It comes with over 4000 colors for the display, you can match it to the other dash colors. You like red? Set to to red or any other color.
The main hit on this unit is the klunky controls. You have to use at least three or four buttons to make a phone call. I guess I'll get used to it, but a month later, I still make mistakes. Keep the manual in the car, in the place that you would normally store your CDs, you won't be needing them.
Pros bluetooth compatibility
Cons not compatible with greek alphabet
Summary I did a lot of search before buying this HU. I must admit I read a lot of others reviews and also returned after 2 days the SONY BT2500 because I read some "bad" reviews.
I was interested mostly in bluetooth capabilities (voice calling, phonebook transfer, audio streaming etc).
I believe it is a value for money HU.
The only disadvantage is that I need to change to the latin alphabet the most frequent calls I make, since greek alphabet is not an issue...
I suggest it to anyone who is looking for bluetooth compatibility without having to pay a hell of a lot.

Pros no tickets from holding onto my phone while driving
Cons need a newer phone to full bluetooth benefits
Summary this radio is great with the illumination reversed it works great in direct sunlight the letters stay black the color display changes and u can't see all the colors with sunlight but the display is clear a ton of features plug your mp3 right into the usb and listen to your music from jogging to driving.
Pros Very handy when it works.
Cons Menus are going to cause accidents.
Summary The unit I bought ($350) only worked at 100% for about 2 months. The CD player stopped working followed about 3 months later by the bluetooth no longer connecting to any device I was able to try. Now hopefully those defects are limited to a small number of units, but the defect that affects all units is the menu system. Very complicated and required many many buttons to navigate, no words can describe the poor design that went into the menu navigation. To top it all off JVC Canada has wants me to send the unit in to be repaired (at my own expense) and who knows when I'll get it back.
Basically, I want my money back to buy a different unit.
