mp3s on a dvd, Nice.by realviper78 - August 20, 2006
Pros: dvd-mp3 capability. good eq options.
Cons: no multicolour button illumination options. no ability to upload your own picture to the unit(only ones avail on alpine's website)
Review:
this is a good deck. i was looking for a deck that plays mp3's on a ddvd but did not want the price of a unit with a screen. i found this unit or the jvc dvd aresenal series ones to be the only ones on he market worth buying. i decided on this as the sounds quality is much better and there is more control of your settings and the display looks more appealing, not as cluttered. my onle complaints is the lack of customization options ther are for this unit. no mulit-colour button illumination options. Also the only pistures that you cn upload are from alpine's website. hopefully in the future they will release software for making your own picture for consumers in the future(hint hint alpine) otherthan that it is a great deck and there is a learning process to use it is wiht the new features it becomes more to learn then insert disc and play. the search feature is nice as u cna have upwards of over 1000 songs on a mp3 dvd. great deck would be excellent with a minor tweak or two.
