Excellent add-on to my laptop in my Honda Odyssey
Pros: New NavMode is awesome. LT-40 is noticeably faster. NavMode almost reminds me of heads-up fighter jet displays. Vast improvement over all. New additional address ok.
Cons: The NavMode vehicle Icon should be able to automatically be made smaller when map is made smaller. DeLorme is still not intuitive but much better than before. Wish they would actively use customers for R&D and for QC once done.

I have my laptop in my vehicle with the new LT-40. It works flawlessly. This was the first intelligent update in years. It does track faster than the previous model. I did check out M$ and found it far inferior. Looks like DeLorme is finally listening to us customers.
A few are missing like and easier way to access your address book. It should also be indexed. The other important improvement would be when searching. They need to show the ADDRESSES in ADDITION to the zip codes. When I am searching for my closest OUTBACK restaurant I need the addresses and location to make the choice.
Excellent on long distance trips. Better than average for daily travel.
Most of the improvements I suggest have to do with daily travel features.
Bottom line is I am delighted that I upgraded.
