Dual Electronics' XDVD8170 is a full-featured mobile audio/video entertainment center with Dolby Digital and DTS outputs to play literally all commercial DVD's, no matter if they are produced for North American (NTSC) or European (PAL) markets. In addition to DVD discs, the XDVD8170 plays all standard compact discs, as well as CD-R/RW discs encoded with .wav and .mp3 files. Dual Electronics' XDVD8170 receiver is built for convenience and, if desired, expansion in any way the user chooses. Included are three pairs of preamp outputs, two pairs of A/V inputs, and two pairs of A/V outputs, so consumers can add additional video source units, video games, CD changers, and more. A 24 Bit D/A converter ensures the full spectrum of sound is reproduced, which is especially important when liening to the subtleties of the most complex soundtracks and music recordings. A remote control is included as well, enhancing both convenience and safety.
