Pros This gps is on the verge of being perfect but..
Cons a few of my friends including myself have this GPS and we have had them for 2-3 years. We all duck hunt and fish. The gps will not turn on even with new batteries. All of us have run into the same problem this year. This is the only flaw.
Summary although this is supposed to be waterproof, if you are not getting this unit around water i will be perfect.
"Great GPS!!!"on by Jed_07
Pros Small size, battery life, features
Cons no USB connectivity, sometimes it takes a while for it to acquire a good signal
Summary This is a great GPS. I've had mine for about 2 years now and it's still working great. I mainly use it for backcountry snowboarding. It's great to use and with amazing detail. The compass mode is very accurate.
I don't like how it doesn't have a USB input-makes it difficult to connect to PC. Another thing is that sometimes you have to have a clear view of the sky for it to have a strong signal. Sometimes I'll be in the open with a very strong signal, then I'll go under some trees and it'll loose that strength.
Other than that it's a great GPS. The side buttons and the WrapAround button on the front are very nice and easy to use.
Pros Shows speed,bearing,and good map
Cons Almost never detects a signal
Summary Over all the unit is good but it does not pick up a sihnal in my area
Pros Good Screen, Reliable, Very Accurate, Portable, Decent Memory
Cons Have to use expensive Garmin Software for detailed maps
Summary I love this unit. I use it when traveling, just connect it to my laptop and use Microsoft Streets and Trips to navigate my way wherever I am going. Kinda hard to look at the little screen when driving but with the laptop it is great. Seems to be very accurate. I use it to mark fishing holes and find my way around lakes. I like the feature that will tell you when sunrise will be wherever you are as I travel to hunt/fish alot. Great all around unit!
Summary My new job requires constant open road night time travel over the same route. The legend trackback keeps me in the know just where I'm at no matter what the visability.
