"Great for NA, decent for Europe"
on by old_typePros Been using around Toronto, Canada, has been spot on, no complaints. Took it to Europe for a Trip, worked great in Amsterdam, Prague, Barcelona and Paris. Its small and battery life is great.
Cons The start up time is slow. For europe it would take 2 to 15 mins to get a satellite signal. Really depends where you are. It did not work well in London. And sometimes it would be off by one street so read the signs yourself.
Summary I would get it if u need the euro maps. Its great. It works, and its cheap. but if you dont need the euro maps, get another model.

"Very easy to use. Easy entry of data."
on by annrgPros Data entry is very easy with big easy to hit numbers and letters. Very intuitive. Easy map update. Has never frozen up. My sister borrowed it and learned how to use it in 5 mins. Drove from CO to VT and loved it. Now she wants one too.
Cons Rather crude map in comparison to my Nextar. For the price, I would expect TTS. Even newest maps have errors not seen on my other GPS.
Summary Nice reliable device. Very easy to use. Great entry device. Too expensive for the limited features that it provides but still a very solid device.

"Poor accuracy causes problems at times"
on by OMcGovernPros Was bundles with European maps
Cons Poor accuracy causing frequent route recalculations
Summary This is my first GPS system.
I needed it to navigate around Washington DC & Virginia. Frequently the system gets confused about my GPS position and tells me to take inappropriate turns/u-turns etc. It can go crazy in a city and really cos problems when driving if you rely on it. You have to remember the route it calculated when it had a good GPS fix and then ignore bad directions when it gets confused.
It's okay 98% of the time, but can go nuts in the city.
If it had the option of an external aerial to help the GPS accuracy it would be probably make all the difference. But it doesn't. -
"Great unit easy to use"
on by pvbhPros portable, and loaded with maps of U.S and Europe
Cons Doesn't speak street names, battery could last longer
Summary This unit is great, loaded with extras,I upgraded from a Garmin Quest which you had to download maps, this unit has them already on unit both U.S and Europe..It works great with it's built in antenna..I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who needs portability and the points of interest are superb!

"This is a nice device as long as the maps are current."
on by jrudaikPros The unit is great in cities that don't change street patterns often. Street addresses are accurate and so are map displays. I have used this unit in the USA, Spain, Poland and Czech Republic with great success. Volume adjustments could be easier though.
Cons In countries with rapidly expanding freeways and building of autobahns, updated maps are required. The unit does not sometimes know whether the road shown on the map is paved, dirt or just a farm road. As far as it is concerned a road is a road is a road
Summary The NA and European maps are really a nice thing to have even if used occasionally. I would buy this unit again especially since I bought it at a great price on sale.
