"For Four Year Old Technology it is an Excellent Product"
Pros: Easy to Use. Easy Setup. Don't Leave Home Without It
Cons: Old Technology. May take you down a dirt road.
Summary: I use my SPIII every day. I make up routes on people to see. It is easy to add additional stops. I find any type of resturant I am I the mood for. Maybe one day the will add AAA star ratings with each hotel or resturant. In Every town there have Points of Interest that get me exactly to where I want to go. It has never failed me and always gives me new short cuts I would never of none about. One Con I wish I could avoid dirt roads going down steep hills but that has only happened three or four times in 4-1/2 years. And I could always turn around if I wanted to do and hit the detour button to reroute me right away. It is great when there are no street names and it takes you very close to the front door on the same side of the street. One hint, when I am typing in an address I add the street number to the begining of the waypoint (the address is renamed and reduced to 6 or 10 characters). I have turned a lot of people on the GPS systems and they all seem to buy Garmin products. I plan to keep using my for another couple of years and have a new one in my next new vehicle. It also sits on the dashboard and I never have to look down and I can keep my eyes on the road.
