Quick Take: If your travels don't take you too far, but you still need help getting from point A to point B, then the Garmin StreetPilot 2610 might be your guiding light. The 2610 is similar to its newer sibling, the 2620, with the exception of map storage. Whereas the 2620 has maps preloaded on its hard drive, the 2610 features a 128MB CompactFlash memory card for carrying maps and comes with a CD chock-full of detailed maps of North America. You also get voice-guided and text-based directions, a comprehensive points-of-interest database, a large color screen, a remote control, and a dash and beanbag mount. The 2610 costs $1,166; for more information on this device, check out our full review of the Garmin StreetPilot 2620.
