"Great GPS - Does what is suppose too and nothing it doesn't"
Pros: Easily transferrable to car to car. LOW learning curve. Great voice clearity. ACCURATE
Cons: keyboard should be qwerty format
Summary: This is my first GPS, but I really like it a lot. My budget doesn't allow me to get a more expensive one, so I decided on this one. Many reviewers have stated that cons were things that it didn't have (such as text to speech). However, one must remember that as with all items, you pay more for more options. If they want text to speech, mp3 player, picture viewer get a more expensive model (or an IPOD...lol)
I believe someone here stated the maps were very old...well, update them. I got mine and everything that I looked for (that was at least a year old) was there. There were some places that it had in the POI that I wasn't able to find, but that is ok, mapquest isn't perfect either.
One reviewer said that it wouldn't take him on his perferred route in a well-known area. My response, is why do you need step by step directions in a place that you already know?
I travel a lot for the business and often I find it VERY difficult to get correct directions from people. I also was in a wreak because I was looking at my map quest print out and for the street and didn't see the person when I switched lanes. These two reasons are why I decided to get a GPS.
