"Great little gps nav for slender budgets"
Pros: accurate directions, small size, clear voice prompts
Cons: no color or touch screen
Summary: I bought a Tomtom Go for my wife last year. It was nearly $700 on sale and has become a invaluable tool for her (and for me on those rare occasions when I get to use it). The i2 was closer to $200 which is why I decided to give it a try. I knew that I was giving up screen size, touch screen, color, and a few features, for a lower price but all I really needed was accurate navigation. The i2 really delivers. I'd recommend it to anyone who just needs nav without the glitz. You don't buy an economy car and then look for the leather seats! If you want nav at the lowest price this is it.

Turn to make from where you are at the moment. You could go the long way that you do know, or simply add as much or little as you want. Hit shopping menu to get to the mall to meet up with friends in half the time.
I must add that I have Garmin's older, but similar (C-320). And now with the price of fuel to think about, rush hour tactics take on a whole new way of getting there. Forget to fill up and in panic, then hit fuel, and your there. If this model has it. (i2, i3)
If your more tech savvy, then go for the ones with more features. Also, let it be known also that they are updated by software that is downloaded online to keep the roads current.
If I'm hungry on the road, I just hit food and I'm in a restaurant of my choice. So check out the features you need. Happy Trails -
I would heartily recommend this unit's more current version, the Garmin StreetPilot i5. Color screen and all.
