"Perfect unit, so easy and accurate..."
Pros: Easy to use... intuitive, very fast to get positioning, lots of different fitures that might get useful for extanded use
Cons: wouldn't install using my mac, had to use my stupid pc (which obviously comes handy sometimes). a nice PDA to run it might cost u a bit. Does not remember your last location. boots from Home location
Summary: I've switched to this using a Palm Lifedrive, from an IPAQ with a navman 3650 which served me well... but the difference is obvious... This one is by far the best GPS navigation I've used in a while... Easy to enter new destinations while driving (not really recommended). many options, POIS, different views and color schemes, voices etc. If you already own a palm with Garnett OS... you should get one... you can get the Palmone GPS kit for under $200 online, which I did... I did have problems with the installation on my Powerbook G4 with Tiger because of syncing issues from the Lifedrive that haven't really been fixed by palm. after messing with it a little, decided to use the 3Ghz PC... installed smoothly.
It took 40 seconds for the unit to get the positioning when first started. 5 seconds to re-route. 10 seconds to get postioning on soft boot. I have to say it's fast and accurate.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT if you already have a Palm PDA with Garnett 5.4 OS
