"Good Sat Nav" on by Flosser24
Pros: Very accurate, long battery life, small/portable
Cons: Confusing interface
Summary: I got to use this device this past weekend on a road trip and was overall pleased with its performance. The Harman is a little tougher to use than other devices out there, but once you get the hang of it it is a great device. It is very accurate an uses Tele Atlas maps. It's also very small and portable with a great battery life. Routing directions are very clear and easy to understand. I like this device and would recommend it to others looking for a GPS device.

"Great MP3 Player" on by troykatt
Pros: Good sound from MP3 player and it might be pretty cool when I can download some video (trying many different formats, nothing work just yet.)
Cons: Really not a good GPS. Other features are pretty good but I would trade it in on my old Garmin Nuvi 200 in a minute but, I just can't seem to find my way home to do so.
Summary: I am usually not one to complain. I feel that if you can't buy something good it has something to do with your intelligence. I am going to go beyond my pride and admit that it was a bad choice. I got lured in by the bells and whistles and the whistles don't even work. I think maybe the maps are just so old that it has no idea where it is most of the time. I have lived in my house going on six years and it cannot find it. I am on my second one trying to see if it will work any better I will always give some thing a second chance but it failed me again today by about 15 miles and 30 minutes. PS I love my 10 year old Harman Kardon receiver.

"i think there are better units out there for the money" on by giunta1026
Pros: Looks,size,
Cons: doesn't support text-to-speech functionality, and it takes the system a while to acquire a GPS fix. Directions weren't always efficient and came late and battery does not last long.
Summary: not worth the money there are a lot better gps units out there for a better price

"SUPERIOR PRODUCT, ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!!" on by ohrin9815
Pros: I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. VERY, VERY HELPFUL AND EASY TO USE.
Cons: AAAHHHH.......IT DOESN'T START MY CAR? LOL!
Summary: THIS IS THE EASIEST TO OPERATE GPS I'VE SEEN. I LIKE ALL OF THE FEATURES AND IT'S NOT TOO SENSITIVE AS I'VE SEEN WITH OTHERS. IT'S JUST AWESOME. I USED TO PRINT UP A MAP QUEST BEFORE TRAVELING, BUT NOT ANYMORE. A FEW MONTHS AGO I WAS IN GEORGIA AND THE INTERSTATE WAS SHUT DOWN DUE TO DEBRIS ON THE ROAD FROM A STORM AND MY BROTHER WAS DRIVING MY CAR AND AS TRAFFIC CAME TO A DEAD STOP, I TOLD HIM TO TURN OFF ON THE NEXT EXIT AND LET GPS REDIRECT US. AND BOY IT DID, IT TOOK US 8 MILES OUT THE WAY BUT WHEN WE GOT BACK ON THE INTERSTATE, THERE WAS NO VEHICLES ON THE ROADFOR MILES AND MILES AS FAR AS WE COULD SEE NORTH BOUND OR SOUTH BOUND, JUST US. I WAS AMAZED. I WAS WONDERING IF WE WERE THE ONLY ONES ON THE ROAD WITH A GPS OR KNOW THE CAPABILITIES OF A GPS. IT WAS SO IMPRESSIVE TO MY BROTHER THAT WHEN HE GOT BACK HOME, HE IMMEDIAETLY BOUGHT ONE.

"Multi-Media Enhanced - Fast Route Calculations - Sharp Wide Screen" on by EdFarrow
Pros: It's like having your MP3 player and GPS/Navigation all in one convenient package
Cons: The proprietary mount/bracket is only available from HK directly and Pricey
Summary: I found the GPS navigation in this unit to be exceptional. I'm sure that all of us know a "short-cut" around town, but this is just a GPS operating on basic principles. I could make a few erroneous turns and possibly confuse this unit, but then again I could make one wrong turn and confuse my Grandmother, and she doesn't fit in the palm of my hand. I found the MP3 functionality to be great when patched to my car stereo with a simple mini jack cord. The screen automatically changes from day to night modes and is sharp, clear and readable at all times. I don't think I could have gotten more bang for my buck!
