  • "Maps out of date, customer service gets a ZERO"
    on by mikeb121

Pros Snappy interface, small and convenient.

Cons Maps out of date, poor battery life, no support

Summary I was given this as a gift for christmas and was very excited. It did well but I began to find alot of areas that the maps didn't exist or were inaccurate. Then I found that it's not possible to even update the maps. Lastly, my battery started only lasting a few hours and upon requesting warranty service, was denied because I didn't have a recept (unit was a gift). I have seen many similar people experience one or more of the exact same problems so I strongly advise going with a unit with updatable maps and strong customer service and not with a unit such as this. It just isn't worth the money when you could invest a little more in a better product.

  • "great, until you open the package"
    on by rsfd539

Pros fairly easy to get started

    Cons highly outdated and undependable

Summary thought i was getting a great deal from Autozone, and it worked decent for a while. had it about 5 months and the speaker quit. the program that comes with it will not upload on my computer and therefore cannot update. overall I am disappointed with Jensen, they've never done me wrong before

  • "lousy product save your money!!!"
    on by samstrings

    Pros nice colored case...................

Cons had two of them and battery gave out on both the same day; talk about planned obsolescence!!!!!!!

Summary doesn't even make a good doorstop ; not tall enough!!

  • "Two years, over 150,000+ miles and still working....."
    on by zecatfish

Pros Fast recalculates of missed turns. holds a lock well and is accurate.
Has track logging that most Garmin automotive gps' lack.
    Robust interface and display.
    export GPX tracks for sharing.

Cons Maps are dated, but still usable.
Speaker volume could be higher for when window is down, or used in a truck.
Overhead view with dozens of pins on the map is looses some of its robustness.
Lacks a trip computer, one item it should have had.

Summary This little unit when new was miles ahead of anything Garmin offered. With its industry standard GPX track exporting. It has worked flawlessly for over two years in a commercial enviroment for over 150,000 miles and hundreds of hours of on time. It has never failed to find lock and perform.

I would buy another, and I just did for the wife for Christmas a 4.3" screen model. These run the IGO software, same as the Mio.

It just works waht more can you say and its faster than my Lowrance XOG and my friends Garmin Nuvi.
