    "Awesome Unit!" on by Jimmy-Jam

    Pros: FAST, FAST and FAST

Cons: jls098 says that you can make changes on the fly; I'm thinking he or she does not have the unit configured to accept alternate routes as the unit clearly offers them if configured to do so.

Summary: If your looking for a GPS unit that boots up quickly, offers great driving directions while including superb traffic conditions. If your looking for supper hi-res screen than this is not for your, however if you want fast and accurate then this is the one...... Turn the key and unit is up and running..... Other units you might sit and smoke a pack and drink a 6 pack by the time they are ready to go.

"An OK unit, but not one that I'd recommend" on by jls098

Pros: The radio works great, bluetooth is reliable and allows me to run Pandora through the system from my cell phone.

Cons: The GPS is abhorent. It doesn't allow you to make any changes while you're moving other than possibly replacing your current destination with your home address. Doesn't allow searching for POI's enroute, doesn't allow for adding stops while moving, noth

Summary: The unit is highly recommended as a radio and hands free cell phone device. It's NOT recommended if you're looking for a full feature GPS device and radio combination. Keep your Garmin.

    "Kicks Arse!" on by TurtleWrangler

    Pros: *Intuitive user interface
*Lightning fast start-up and satellite acquisition
    *Dual HD tuners
    *Superb audio quality
*Xlnt Bluetooth audio and cell phone performance
*Subwoofer line output & internal bandpass circuitry
    *Detachable faceplate
    *SD & US

Cons: *No support for personalized splash screens
    *Lacks music visualization capability

Summary: The KW-NT3HDT is packed with content. Dual built-in HD tuners enable independent traffic/news updates and HD-radio music listening, and the updates/alerts are free, courtesy of Clear Channel's Total Traffic+ HD network.

The unit's well thought out, intuitive user interface makes on-the-go adjustments and selections safe and easy. The GPS navigation with lane guidance acquires satellites quickly, and additional circuitry enables guidance even when satellite signals are temporarily lost, such as sometimes happens in urban canyons. Voice guidance is both clear and pleasant, and the configurable speed alert feature can warn you when you're entering ticket territory.

This unit is also equipped with outstanding customization capabilities. Individually customizable illumination colors for the controls and the display enable matching the control colors to the instrumentation and the display background to the vehicle's interior. Internal subwoofer circuitry supports selectable crossover frequency and slope. 7-band EQ enables tailoring the system's excellent audio quality to specific vehicle and speaker characteristics. Independently adjustable input levels for the various media sources eliminate large volume jumps when switching sources. The Speed-sensitive adaptive volume circuit can be configured to compensate for the road noise transmitted by your particular vehicle.

Cell phone integration is intelligent, solid, and well integrated into the unit's other functions. Your phone book is automatically available through the in-dash unit, and A/V sources are automatically muted during calls.

"Almost every features available." on by kaichao1287

Pros: Play MP3 off SD, Thumb Drive. Loads ipod quickly evern with 5000 songs, same way with SD card and Thumb Drive. Fast route calcualtion. Shows Chinese Charcter on ID3 tags for MP3s and Ipod songs. HD Raido sounds great and Bluetooth is effective.

Cons: The screen could be higher resolution. Needs to tell what side of the street destination is on.

Summary: I really likes the fact that it start player my music quickly on all my connections. Love the fact that it's the only deck out there that actually shows ID3 tags in East Asian characters as I have lots of chinese music. Everyone that seen this deck in operations has been amazed by this features. If you have chinese or japanese MP3 songs in your Ipod, SD cards or thumb drive, give this a try and you will be pleasantly suprised.
