"Ready to go out of the box"
Pros: Very intuitive, easy to learn
Cons: Could be easier to cancel navigation
Summary: I really like this unit. Let me begin by saying this is my first GPS unit. I am reasonably savy tech wise. I was looking for something that would get me from here to there without having to spend hours scouring over a manual. I took the unit out, mounted it in minutes, and was on my way. I typed in the address for a house I was looking for and it worked great. Plenty of notice of upcoming turns and good clarity on the audio. I have not tried the MP3 feature yet and I may not. I didn't buy it to replace my iPod.
I am a traveling salesman and I wanted to input the addresses of all my stops. I inputed about 50 addresses in less than an hour and that was with learning time.
If you are new to this, and want something that is easy to use and accurate, this is a great unit.

For that price I rather spend it on a reliable brand such as Garmin or Tom Tom. They're alot user friendly and much better graphics.

I agree with pdxmike. I'm also in sales, and this unit is a life saver. Accurate, and easy to use all for $199.00.
