"Realistic-looking maps outweighs shortcomings"
Pros: Accurate navigation, realistic-looking and very current maps, lots of useful features
Cons: Slow processor, slow satellite locking (about 6 mins cold, 2 minutes after being off for a short time), Can't find Walmarts in California- Just 3 about 2k miles away
Summary: Maps are excellent. My old Tomtom go 300 only shows the highlighted path and unhighlighted major crossings while navigating. This one shows the accurate maps (mostly, if not all). The North-Up mode is also handy.
The 3D map mode shows a map like it's taken from a Helicopter.
About POIs:
Pros:
1. Very extensive. Most new businesses around my area are found by this unit. phone numbers are even included.
2. Find by name is available.
Cons:
1. Some POI inaccuracies on map.
2. Only 3 Walmarts found. All in East Coast. I'm in California. (are they mad at Walmart?)
3. Post office and other gov't offices cannot be found by name. Have to go to the Gov't category to find it.
Position locking gets confused when unit is turned on after a long time being off, especially when the music is on. It took 6 minutes to find my location (I would've gotten lost if I was in a strange place). The TomTom Go 300 took only seconds regardless.
Strangely, when an entry is to be added to the Address book, the supposedly blank screen has "001" displayed on the NAME field. This is an obvious bug in the code.

You probably put in search "walmart" instead of "wal-mart".Try this and you`ll get plenty of walmarts.Do the same for kmart like "k-mart".
