"Just received my Roadmate 2000 yesterday and I'm very impressed with it's many features."
Pros: Very easy to use, great audio and 3D video graffics.
Cons: Did not come with detailed instructions, CD not included but note said it would be out soon
Summary: This is my first GPS and you get a lot of bang for the buck. I paid $350, which is $50 off of the MSRP of $400. The touch screen is easy to use, and intuitive. Good volume, bright picture and many features that, up to now, have cost much more. It even comes with a mounting bracket and 12 car charger/power supply. Apparently the hardware come out before the instructional software. There is a basic Quick Reference book that gets you started and a notice insert that says a detailed CD will be released soon. The 2000 is the base model and the first of three models to be released. It also has an SD slot for future updates. I used it extensively today and it worked flawlessly.
