"Gets you where you want to; but not always the way you want to go"
Pros: Pleasant female voice provides upcoming direction changes begining at Mile 2 with frequent updates. No need to watch screen .
Cons: unsteady mounting arm
Summary: Used on trip from San Diego CA to San Jose(450+ miles) and return. It performed perfectly.
Leaving Magellans preprogramed route causes a verbal message to make a U-Turn. However, in each case Magellan found what I was doing and incorporated my change.
A great device. Even at night!
