"Upgrade to 2008 map and it becomes absolute junk"
Pros: I paid retail for this product when it first came out, and it had high resolution screen, split screen, fairly good navigation and working blue tooth.
Cons: After waiting for the map upgrade to drop from AU$180.00 to AU$80, I purchased and installed the 2008 map 'upgrade' which: downgraded the resolution to dos level, removed split screen, changed the voices, installed basic navman software.

Pros: easy to move around in different programs.
Cons: Blue tooth will not work on my phone. Almost impossible to get repairs. Mio will not give us telephone numbers to repair facility. All Customer reps. are in Phillipines. and sometimes have difficulty in understanding. Most speek enlish well.
