"Excellent GPS Navigation and Map Browsing!"
Pros: Many to list: bright and detailed LCD screen, ability to browse maps to anywhere in the USA, different 2D/3D/cockpit map views, FAST zooming and scrolling of maps, very accurate and strong GPS signal
Cons: some features/icons difficult to figure out, unless you read the Manual. Lot of settings you can adjust (con b/c need to look for them, but can be good b/c many features adjustable)
Summary: This is an excellent GPS navigation device, with detailed street-level maps of all 50 states (plus Guam and Puerto Rico, if you care). Everything is fast: scrolling of maps, CPU route calculations, automatic re-routing, zooming in/out of maps.
** I also checked out the Garmin C320/C330/C340: they are SLOW to zoom in/out of maps. Also, i was unable to scroll the maps around.
I've been able to lock on to my location about 15-20 seconds only. Directions are very accurate!
Mio is not mentioned much (vs Garmin, Magellan, etc), but this is an excellent little device!Updated
Very slim form, easy to put in shirt pocket. Can't say the same for Garmin C-Series.
