"An easy to use, intutive device with a fantastic interface"
Pros: Really accurate, great features and simple operation
Cons: Doesn't always pick the best route - but seems to adjust pretty well
Summary: I'm not a techie gal at all, so I'm not an expert on GPS devices, but I've been very happy with this product. I got it in the mail last week, and found it really easy to set up - very intuitive and a good user interface. Some of the buttons are a little confusing, but after playing with it and reading the simple instructions, it was pretty clear.
I've had a great time testing this out, and I've been amazed how accurate it is, as far as accuracy of distances, and the features showing how far away you are from your destination, and warning you when you're speeding, or getting to close to another car ("warning"!)... I didn't anticipate these little features, so they've been a pleasant surprise!
I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for an easy to use GPS system with great usability - I've had a great time learning to use it and have been impressed with all the fun and cool features.

I'm glad to hear you had such great results from your 7100. You might want to read my review, headlined "Don't buy this unit". With a few more software updates this unit may be comparable to some of the well known GPS products on the market. Those of us who currently have a 7100 should be offered the next two, not including version 1.2, software updates free since the current software is beta software.

First of all, this device has no proximity warning and doesn't even say that it does.
Other than that, the whole GPS community is aware of 2 things:
1. This product does not work properly in the U.S.A. It's performance is horrible.
2. Navigon U.S.A. has been flooding the blogs with phony reviews using people who are probably employed by Navigon to fool the public. One such person named Peg who is the Director of Marketing in your company has already been caught on Amazon. The reason that you are doing this is to fool new GPS users into buying your product by stuffing the blogs with lies.
P.T. Barnum once said "There is a sucker born every minute." It is unfortunate that Navigon seems to think it can sell GPS devices based on this rather than good engineering like the other top players in this. -
