"Awesome Unit!!!"
Pros: Quick ipod response, great interface, nice factory look in dash
Cons: installation is complicated
Summary: I just purchased an avic-z2 and installed it in my car. Overall I am very impressed and think its a great navigation. All functions are laid out well and I extremely impressed with its ipod functionality. Was cleanly installed, but I know the installation was complicated for the installers because they were constantly researching wiring on unit in perspective to my car, but over all its awesome.

I have talked to about 10 different people regarding the z2. I just ordered one today. Pioneer tells me the only function disabled is the DVD and the navigation is fully functional. Others tell me some features such as typing in an address while in motion and searching locations are disabled. Since you own one what is the deal. I don't know why Pioneer would say it works when others tell me it doesn't
