"Great navigator for road use"
Pros: Locks on fast, fast reroute,easy to swtich between cars
Cons: Not useful for cross country navigation, few extras
Summary: I had a magellan 700 before this unit. My complaints about the magellan were that it was slow to reroute and acquire its position when first turned on. The Sony has none of these problems. The display is easier to read during the day compared with the Magellan. My only real disappointment is that is not very useful for dead reckoning, does not display heading information.
