"A function filled deal at $199.00 from Radio Shack!"
Pros: The large screen is easy on the eyes, day and night, and the Blue Tooth feature is easy to use. I also like the traffic alerts on the long distance commutes. All in all the NV-U94T is a lot of GPS for the money.
Cons: The only glitch was in the factory installed software which required a call to SONY for a technician's help in the middle of a 10 hour drive. I also would have liked a softer voice for the female English selection.
Summary: I like this product tremendously for its large screen area which helps with older eyes, and I thought that the dual mapping at lane changes and traffic merges was insightfully designed. Hands free phone use is a big concern in traffic and the Bluetooth feature works fairly well with the only drawback being a rear mounted speaker that muffles the voice. Bing able to use a standard route or a shortest route selection is certainly helpful for fuel efficiency and we have found this unit to be very accurate in both modes. After downloading the latest software version, I was surprised and pleased that it shows most of the standard fast food eateries and major gas stations by logo.
