Pros It spins you round round
Cons With the current crop of new and free smartphone/gps offerings (Droid), and the lowering cost of stand alone GPS devices, the cost of this one just doesn't justify it.
Summary $99 for any smartphone app is ridiculous! Especially when GPS navigation is now free on the Droid. GPS manufacturers are looking for some way to hold onto their market share and have already had to reduce prices drastically, but with a pricetag like this, it is doubtful to provoke many people to buy it. Also, considering that a lot of people use some kind of case for their iPhones, having to mess around with removing/replacing it every time they get in or out of their vehicle is sure to be another turn off.
Pros Better GPS performance.
Cons The weight of the wire is enough to pull on the unit -- when in horizontal mode, the smallest bump pulls the phone down to vertical mode. The swivel is just WAY too weak. All this waiting... extremely disappointed. Going to try to get my money back.
Summary Not worth the price... in fact not worth using at all.. too frustrating to drive with.

Pros Ease of Use, Features, Accuracy, Flexability
Cons Cost, Lack of Included App, Bluetooth connection?, Poor Mic Quality
Summary In the end, its all about being a GPS booster for your iPhone, and the TomTom kit does it well. The kit quickly fits your phone, aquires the needed signal, and locates your car within a few meters.
Note: The kit works with all location-based apps, so you can use it with other turn-by-turn apps like MapQuest or Traffic Apps like Waze.
Where the kit lacks is all the additional features, including the "hands free" bluetooth capabilities. Lets just say the mic sucks. TomTom also decided it was a bad idea to stream the other end of the call through the auxilary audio out, which I can understand due to feedback issues, but the integrated speaker does nothing good for the person on the other end.
I would also like to see a bundle price included for the TomTom app.
Finally, why would they use bluetooth to connect to the iPhone, when the Kit has a dock connector? Lame.
In total, a great GPS enabler for the iPhone, but a poor hands-free system. But what are you really buying it for anyway?

Pros Easy to use, long cord for charging
Cons Broke after 4th use. The adapter that goes into the power outlet is cheaply made and broke after only 4 uses.
