Pros: One less bulky item to carry

Cons: Cannot talk on phone and receive directions

Summary: I have been using the Navigator 6 with my Treo 700 for several months. I love it because I can add GPS to my Treo (which I always carry). The receiver is about the width and length of a credit card and about 1/2 inch thick. Much better than carrying another whole device with all its various accoutrements.

I hate that the directions go off the screen if I accept an incoming phone call. Also, be aware, that this application sucks the battery out of your cell phone. For lengthy trips, you pretty much have to have it plugged into the charger. Last negative, the Navigator does not speak street names. That's manageable, but definitely not desirable.

All in all, for the small amount of space this takes up in my purse, it's an affordable and excellent GPS system. Unlike a previous user, I am able to download partial maps, just don't choose to do so because I find the application pretty fast as is.
