"Low cost large screen GPS with good features."
Pros: Large screen, easy to transfer from car to car, fast off-rout recalculation
Cons: Convenient mounting also makes it easy to drop, shorter battry life
Summary: Contrary to the specifications here, it does not speak the street name. It does the usual "turn left in 400 yards" thing. The "help me" feature includes phone numbers and walking routing along with current position and GPS coordinates. It also has a built in first aid manual. Tom Tom has put great value in this one.

As quoted from Consumer Reports "the "S" denotes spoken street names ability". The model that speaks the street name is the "XL 330 S" not the "XL 330".

"Large" what is "Large"? Bigger than small or maybe bigger than tiny or medium? A bit like saying a large portion. How about mentioning inches or centimeters then a reader can make his own mind up if something is small, medium or indeed large enough for his usage. I have a TomTom XL & I know the sizes but somebody looking to buy that doesn't have that experience, might like to be intelligently advised & not just given an opinion without facts
Where to buy
