1.5 starson by msw66Pros: I really liked the idea of lifetime map updatesI guess. I'll wait for Garmain to offer the lifetime map updates and will purchase that brand.
Cons: Not intuitive. The turn by turn directions were vague, not naming streets and such, just "turn left in 800 yards".
Summary: I've used a friend's Garmin Nuvi a number of times and felt that it was much easier to use and understand than this product. Returned it...'nuff said.

Another user who failed to read the manual. How could you when you returned it 'within 4 hours'?
It's unfortunate you wrote a review without reading the unit manual. If you want the unit to identify the streets by name and alert you in advance to turns, you must select a 'computer' voice, not one of the various celebrity or regional voices. Properly configured the unit does what you say it does not. -
According to http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3170/kw/street%20names%20not%20given you must choose one of the computer generated voices to have street names announced in the turn-by-turn instructions.
