Pros: Portable, No cables, easy to read, accurate

Cons: None I can think of

Summary: I’ve always liked using the Caltrans / Metro traffic info on the web to navigate my way around LA’s snarled freeways. Now I can take it with me! Which is good, because I never seem to remember to check my route right before I leave the house. Or maybe my computer wasn’t booted up and I was in too much of a hurry to wait.

Now I just get in the car or on the motorcycle, whip out trafficgauge, and know the best way to get to Grandma’s house in Seal Beach from the Valley.
Sure, there are GPS Nav systems that have live traffic as well, but they cost ten times as much. Plus I don’t need the maps. I know where I’m going – I just want to know how NOT to get there. Works for me.
