These are excellent speakers for the money
Pros: Can be very loud, these speakers do not require a lot of power to be "loud" I paid only $35 dollars for the box that these subwoofers are in. I hit 140 Dbs with these subs with only a 500 watt amp.
Cons: Require at least 2 cubic ft of box space. Ported box recommended

Pros: looks nice
Cons: for an amp i am using a hifonics bx1500d, 1500rmsx1 @ 1 ohm. I tried 2 of these in a 1.25 cubic ft sealed box and it was whisper quiet. and NO, nothing was out of phase or hooked up incorrectly. I tried them in a Q-logic ported box from circuit city. the
