Quick Take: Want to hit the beach with your favorite tunes--and maybe some ice-cold sodas and a sandwich or two? Just pack everything in the Sakar Cooler Sound Case ($49), a bigger-than-a-lunchbox but smaller-than-an-ice-chest vinyl case (14 by 10 by 10 inches) with a waterproof, plastic-lined interior and a pair of two-inch speakers in front. A Velcro flap between the speakers hides an iPod-size pouch, complete with a clear plastic window for Click Wheel access. The sound isn't exactly mind-blowing--hello, bass?--but this electric-blue cooler powered by a 9V battery will look great on your beach blanket.
