The Archos MiniCDRW 2 is just slightly larger than a personal CD player. It is the smallest and fastest, slim-line 16x10x24x CD-Writer on the market today. The MiniCDRW 2 is equipped with the newest interface, USB 2.0, 40 times faster than the standard USB 1.1 (up to 480 Mbps). It is hot-swappable and you can plug and play on virtually any PC - desktops or notebooks. It also works with the standard USB 1.1 interface, but at a lower speed (4x4x6x). The Archos MiniCDRW 2 is the easiest and most convenient way to record your own CDs - whether you want to store data, music, photos or videos while in the office or on the move. The MiniCDRW 2 comes with everything you need to make CDs quickly and easily wherever you may be! Delivered with mastering software, the MiniCDRW allows you to write, update and re-write your files thousands of times! The "Drag and Drop" feature facilitates the task - just like saving data on a hard disk.
